2025 – Status Report
Time flies. After a surprisingly long time, at the end of 2023 I have finally published my first commercial game, Words of Yendor. I can’t even make an attempt to assemble a list of all the many different and completely new disciplines and aspects of game development I have encountered and resolved during the development. Almost two years later, I had to conclude that as a commercial product, Words of Yendor is a definite financial failure.
I’m trying to do better with my next game projects. In fact, I’m working on two, in parallel, and one of them is now very close to a stage where I can make a presence and publish a demo to obtain feedback. As I don’t have and don’t belong to any community, this seems to be the only way to assert if the new project is interesting enough so that at least I won’t lose too much money with it.
